I earned my MCSD and MCSE way back in 1999, getting certified on SQL Server 6.5 and 2000 along the way. A nice and quiet career as a developer followed. And then I came to ExactTarget (now the Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in 2008 and found out what real databases were like. Obsessed with speed, when I’m not writing code that makes data go fast, I’m talking about it at IndyPASS, SQL Saturdays, and other PASS events.

- I’m a Program Manager for PASS, a role that is challenging me to bring more developer content to the Summit. If you have feedback about this initiative, please contact me.
- Speaking of speed, from 2012 to 2017, I turned my love of racing in general and IndyCar in particular into service for God by managing the online assets of the IndyCar Ministry. It’s a wonderfully unique ministry, and I was delighted to be a part of it.
- If you live near me and are a fan of the Beautiful Game, you might be interested in Blue River Soccer, where I have contributed a little of my time and talents over the years, or Triton Central, where I put a lot of time these days (if not so much talent) into helping coach the girls soccer team.
- Lastly, I can’t help but shamelessly plug the best accountants in the world at JVG and Associates.
